Touching people's lives here in Reno
When you give to missions here at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship 1/3 of every missions offering is used or given to help minister to the people of our city, right here around us who are just needing some love, a meal or as one unhoused woman told Pastor “you are the first person to talk to me today…” as tears streamed down her face. Sometimes we forget a moment of our time can touch the heart of someone who is in need.
What is the solution?
You can get involved and help us reach out to more people who are in need. Did you know that in our schools here that there are children who live in poverty. We can do better and we will do better as a church because God said,”17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” 1 John 3:17 We are His hands extended to those around us that are hurting.
